Texans’ Jones wins ‘Super 60′ at Millrose Games

Texans WR Jacoby Jones won the “Super 60″ 60-meter dash Friday at the 104th running of the Millrose Games at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
Jones won the event with a time of 7.00 seconds against a field of athletes representing a variety of sports. The “Super 60″ is designed as a proving ground for sports stars to showcase the component of speed necessary in all sports.
Finishing behind Jones were former NFL player and current member of the UFL’s Omaha Nighthawks, Anthony Dorsett Jr. (7.14); Olympic bobsledder Steve Mesler (7.24); Bryan Jordan of Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles Galaxy (7.33); former Major League Baseball player Junior Spivey (7.86) and former NBA player Jay Williams (9.11).
