Urlacher rooting for … Steelers

Just because you respect the Green Bay Packers doesn’t mean you have to root for them. Just ask Bears LB Brian Urlacher.
“Hell no I’m not rooting for the Packers in the Super Bowl,” Urlacher told the “Waddle & Silvy Show” on ESPN 100. “I have a ton of respect for that organization and the head coach, but I don’t want them to win the Super Bowl. They’re in our division, I want them to lose.”
Still have to wonder if Bears fans would have liked a similar anti-Packers response out of President Obama (BTW people, don’t take everything so seriously) …
For what it’s worth, we would expect every member of the Bears to say the same. We’re not passing along anything you probably don’t know. But it’s still fun to read.
And, speaking of fun, here’s a video breakdown from the “Playbook” crew of the touchdown-saving trip by Packers QB Aaron Rodgers on Urlacher during the NFC Championship Game — the one Brian Baldinger called the most important play of the game.
