Trio of North OTs have first-round talent

MOBILE, Ala. — The first-round offensive tackles that I’ve been talking about all week long really impressed me.

Colorado’s Nate Solder, Wisconsin’s Gabe Carimi and Boston College’s Anthony Castonzo all had real good weeks and I think they all have to be considered first-round draft picks. I think they really helped themselves.

The offensive tackle from Alabama, James Carpenter, was a guy I didn’t like a whole lot prior to this week. I think he has really helped himself. He’s a better football player than I expected.

The highlight of the week was really watching the North offensive line battle the North defensive line. There could be five first-round picks among those two groups.
