Cowboys’ Witten amped for island time

After a one time move to the mainland when the Pro Bowl was played in Miami last year, this season’s display of the league’s best will be back at Aloha Stadium in Hawaii, which is just fine by Cowboys’ TE Jason Witten.

“It has an atmosphere that is so different and special—being on an island and so far away from home,” said Witten in comparison to last year’s event. “Also, it’s great for your kids and your family to be able to experience that atmosphere. Especially during the heart of the winter season.”

Witten, who has been selected to the Pro Bowl seven times including this year, also commented on what it means to represent the NFC once again.

“It is meaningful to be selected by the other players and by the fans,” said Witten. “It is also the one game out of the year where the week of preparation is fun and you can share it with your family.”

The Pro Bowl will air on Sunday, Jan. 30 on FOX at 7 p.m. ET.
