Nakamura part of two turnovers on same play

Check out the video above for today’s nominee for wild-card plays you just don’t see every day.
Ravens FS Haruki Nakamura caught a tipped pass intended by Tony Moeaki, only to fumble it back to the Chiefs moments later when he was hit by RB Jamaal Charles.
Notice two things on the play: One, a great hustle play by Charles. Two, after the interception you can see Pro Bowler Ed Reed clapping his hands — and presumably yelling to Nakamura — for a lateral. Sure, Reed has the second-most interception return yards in NFL history, but not what the Ravens needed.
The end result was one play, two turnovers and 13 yards later, a first down for the Chiefs. Just like they drew it up in the sand, right?
