NFL Network’s Rich Eisen points out that Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck is showing some of that 2005 moxie that helped lead Seattle to its first Super Bowl.
After that first interception, of course.
Hasselbeck has completed 13 of 18 passes for 168 yards and three touchdowns. The first two going to TE John Carlson, and a third to WR Brandon Stokley to give the Seahawks a 24-17 lead.
But Eisen believes that Hasselbeck is getting a little help from an unlikely source: “The defending world champs are battling a 13th man today too and his name is [Saints safety] Roman Harper.”
