Dukes: Sanchez must make throws

The Jets have had their chances against the Colts, but NFL Network analyst Jamie Dukes believes that Jets QB Mark Sanchez is making too many mistakes and missing too many open receivers. The biggest transgression, however, is the interception in the Colts’ end zone that left the Jets without any points despite being in easy field-goal range.
“You can’t throw the ball into harm’s way,” Dukes said.
The Jets actually have the edge over the Colts in total yards (153 to 147), but Colts QB Peyton Manning was able to make the most of his scoring chance, hitting Pierre Garcon on a 57-yard touchdown pass.
As analyst Tom Waddle was quick to point out, the Jets cannot continue to give Manning too many opportunities.
