Gators, ‘Canes added to Senior Bowl roster

Six players from the Sunshine State were added to the Senior Bowl’s South team this week. Miami DE Allen Bailey, who has been projected to go in the first round, led the ‘Canes with seven sacks this season and had 31 tackles for a loss during his four years there.
WR Leonard Hankerson was first team All-ACC this year and broke three of Miami’s single-season records in with 72 receptions for 1,156 receiving yards and 13 receiving touchdowns.
The Gators doubled the ‘Canes with four of Urban Meyer’s last class representing Florida in Mobile, Ala. S Ahmad Black, who is coming off an MVP performance at the Outback Bowl with an 80-yard interceptions return for a touchdown, has 171 interception-return yards total this season to lead the nation.
Joining Black, is P Chas Henry who averaged 46.4 yards per punt and won the Ray Guy Award which goes to the college football’s top punter.
Two offensive linemen round out the Florida foursome in C Mike Pouncey and T Marcus Gilbert. The Gators’ O-line opened up holes for four 300-yard rushing games this season.
