Vick ruled out for Eagles’ finale vs. Cowboys

Eagles QB Michael Vick has been ruled out of Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Cowboys because of a leg injury.
Vick injured his quad on the first play of Tuesday night’s 24-14 loss to the Vikings.
Former first-string QB Kevin Kolb will start for the Eagles.
Vick is one of several starters who won’t play for the NFC East champions. Philadelphia is locked into the No. 3 seed and will host a first-round playoff game next weekend.
Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (foot), CB Asante Samuel (knee), RB LeSean McCoy, DE Trent Cole and RT Winston Justice also are inactive.
For the Cowboys, Jon Kitna is inactive because of a painful muscle strain in his side that interrupts his throwing motion. Kitna didn’t practice all week and was listed as questionable on the Cowboys’ final injury report.
Backup QB Stephen McGee will make the first start of his NFL career.
