Flacco, Ravens continue to disappoint

Ravens QB Joe Flacco has been one of the biggest enigmas in fantasy football. Flacco ranks 11th among quarterbacks on NFL.com, yet nothing about him stands out.

He will have a game where he has multiple touchdowns, but not a lot of yards. Or even the reverse. Flacco topped 300 yards once this season, yet he only tossed one touchdown in Week 11 against the Panthers.

Where is the sizzle Joe?

The fantasy mediocrity of Flacco reached its fever pitch in this week’s matchup against the Bengals. Flacco was supposed to crush the Bengals as the Ravens are one of the few teams shooting for something here. So far he has delivered a 125 passing yards, no touchdowns and an interception. Oh, and he continues to keep Anquan Boldin in the witness relocation program.

What is the deal with the Ravens? Wasn’t Boldin the player who was going to put the Ravens offense over the top? Yet, Baltimore could easily be the most disappointing team as a fantasy unit. Even the usually reliable Ray Rice was one of the most disappointing players this season.

Something is wrong with the Ravens, and for the sake of fantasy enthusiasts everywhere, hopefully they can get it turned around.
