While it came down to a 43-yard Adam Vinatieri field goal as the clock expired, the Colts clinched the AFC South with Sunday’s 23-20 win over the Titans.
The Colts earned the No. 3 seed in the AFC with the win, eliminating the Jaguars. They will host the Jets, the No. 6 seed, at 8 p.m. ET on Sat., Jan. 8 in the wild-card round of the playoffs. Here’s the full playoff schedule, with times and dates.
It’s the seventh time in the last eight seasons the Colts have won the AFC South.
The Colts earned their ninth straight playoff appearance, which ties them for the longest streak in NFL history with the 1975-83 Cowboys. It’s also the ninth straight season of 10 or more wins for the Colts, extending the second-longest streak in NFL history (the 1983-98 49ers had 16 straight seasons).
Here’s a look at the current playoff picture, which will be updated throughout the night.
