Campbell, Miller sidelined for Raiders

UPDATE: It looks as though both Campbell and Miller avoided serious injury. After sitting out one series, Campbell returned for the Raiders, while Miller is also back in the game.

The Raiders haven’t had a positive start on the injury front in Week 17 against the Chiefs.

First QB Jason Campbell left the game with what the team has announced as a right knee injury. Campbell was injured when he was pushed out of bounds on the sideline following an 8-yard run on the Raiders’ first drive of the game.

The Raiders haven’t made an official announcement on Campbell’s status.¬†Kyle Boller replaced him to start the team’s next series.

It was on the first play of the team’s next series when TE Zach Miller suffered what appears to be a serious left knee injury. Miller was blocking on a running play when Derrick Johnson fell into his left knee. Miller was able to walk off the field, but was brought to a trainers table where stress tests were administered to the knee.
