Joe Flacco says he doesn’t fault the oft-fined James Harrison of the Steelers for his aggressive style of play that has led to $125,000 in fines this season.

A few items on my mind this week after emerging from the film room, starting with the team that gets my vote as the NFL’s most improved.

I hope people realize Derek Anderson takes the game seriously, and he’s not going to let his character come under question if he wants to smile on the sidelines.

If Pierre Thomas returns in Week 13, it makes all the Saints running backs less attractive in fantasy leagues.

Fantasy owners will likely have to wait until gametime to find out if Adrian Peterson will play in Week 13.

Antonio Gates has quickly become a risky option for fantasy owners due to an injured foot.

The Lions will start Drew Stanton at quarterback vs. the Bears, and while the former Michigan State Spartan will not draw any interest in fantasy circles, he certainly could impact one of the best receivers, Calvin Johnson. The Giants could be getting more help at receiver as Steve Smith was reportedly running routes at practice on Wednesday according to coach Tom Coughlin and WR Hakeem Nicks told reporters that he wants to return soon, maybe as soon as Week 14 vs. the Vikings. A return by the receivers would coincide with the heart of the fantasy playoffs.
