Saints coach Sean Payton announced Thursday that Marques Colston underwent an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee earlier in the week and is not able to practice. Payton is expected to list his top wide receiver as questionable for this week’s game against the Buccaneers, but it would be a surprise to see him play.

If he is in fact out for Week 17, Lance Moore, Robert Meachem and Devery Henderson would all see increased roles this week. That would certainly alter starting lineups if your league is still active. What’s more, Colston’s procedure could change your strategy for the NFL Fantasy Playoff Challenge as well.

In the event that the Saints have to play in Wild Card weekend, Colston would become a far less attractive option.
