Week 16 power rankings: Few changes at the top

.) Patriots — Nothing to play for Week 17 … Will Bill Belichick rest everyone/anyone?
.) Steelers — Beat the Browns and clinch the No. 2 seed.
.) Ravens — Finishing strong; playoff tested.
.) Falcons — Been the best team in the NFC this season overall.
.) Eagles – Another quirk in their schedule, but don’t think it will rattle them. Division is theirs.
.) Saints — Dangerous playoff team with that QB and that reinforced defense.
.) Packers — Fear them if they get in the playoffs.
.) Bears — Not the defensive performance they wanted against pedestrian Jets offense, but offense was crazy explosive. Give Mike Martz his due.
.) Chiefs — When they bring it, very tough. Excellent at home. Congrats on going wire to wire in AFC West.
.) Colts — Another Jags collapse makes it easier for them. Gonna be tough at home in playoffs, though.
.) Giants — Fighting for their lives but they’ve responded in the past. Eli Manning’s turnover rate troubling.
.) Jets – Like the Giants, in a bit more of a jam than they figured. Lucky that Jags and Chargers choked.
.) Bucs — One of the truly great stories of the 2010 season; have to think it bodes well for 2011.
.) Chargers — Wildly inconsistent. Might not bode well for Norv Turner’s future.
.) Jaguars — Lost MJD at worst possible time. Can’t get over the December hump.
.) Cowboys — The No. 3 QB hung in there pretty good, but that’s a game they cannot lose.
.) Rams — Sam Bradford has more completions as a rookie than Peyton Manning. Could he cap ROY season by clinching a division in front of 12th man in Seattle?
.) Lions — Go from not winning a road game in three years to pulling off unreal comebacks on road. Kudos.
.) Raiders — Beating rival Chiefs Sunday and getting to .500 would make them 6-0 in the division. And you know Al Davis will ponder changes.
.) Redskins — Give them credit for not rolling over. Rex Grossman turns it over but makes a few plays, too.
.) Bills — Ryan Fitzpatrick too erratic down the stretch. Gonna make for interesting decisions there.
.) Dolphins — Gonna be looking for new QB, probably a new RB, possibly a new coach.
.) Titans — Only question lingering is who stays — Jeff Fisher or Vince Young? I think it might be the QB.
.) Vikings — Have to get QB figured out next season; need to start getting younger on D.
.) Texans – Next head coach must fix this defense and get team to consistently play to its potential.
.) Seahawks — No one does the receiving-end of a beatdown like the ‘Hawks. My goodness … Yet one more home win and they’re in the big dance.
.) Bengals — Wow, back-to-back wins. Who needs T.O. or Chad Ochocinco, anyway?
.) Browns — Eric Mangini will move aside. Will a big-name coach move in? Colt McCoy still a gamer.
.) Broncos — All hail Tim Tebow. A welcome distraction from the coaching/GM search ahead.
.) 49ers — Like a lot of teams in this part of rankings, have major organizational issues to hammer out.
.) Cardinals — Nice win, but this team has major flaws to overcome next year.
.) Panthers – Rebuild a comin’. New coach. Maybe new QB, too.
