First of all, a shout out to Channing Crowder for filling some more blog space on a Tuesday.

Whenever Crowder has microphones in front of him he usually has something … interesting … to say, such as how the Dolphins don’t need the fans who chose to boo. His latest offering is on the two-man MVP race between Tom Brady and Michael Vick.

“Everybody knows it should be Michael Vick, but they’re going to let Brady win it because it’s Tom Brady,” Crowder told AOL Fanhouse. “You’ve got to go with Vick. Vick’s my dude.”

We’re curious to know who Crowder refers to when he says “everybody,” because it was just last week Brian Baldinger suggested that if players voted on the MVP, it would be near-unanimous that Vick would take home the hardware.

Whether you agree or not, that’s an interesting angle to a race that seems too close to call.
