Maurice Jones-Drew, the NFL’s second-leading rusher, won’t play in the Jaguars’ home game against the Redskins because of a knee injury that kept him out of practice all week.
Jones-Drew has 1,324 rushing yards this season. He was listed as doubtful on Friday’s injury report.
The Jaguars will have WR Mike Sims-Walker, who had been listed as questionable because of an ankle injury.
The Redskins officially made Donovan McNabb their No. 3 QB, meaning John Beck will back up new starter Rex Grossman.
