Roddy White causes stir with Twitter bash of Saints

It turns out Falcons WR Roddy White is pretty fired up about Monday night’s game against the Saints, and there are a trail of Twitter posts to prove it.

It looks as though White’s Wednesday morning went something like this … say good morning, bash the Saints, stick foot in mouth.

Here’s what got things started:

“The grace of god gave them tht championship so tht city wouldn fall apart now and now they think they hot #!@%*# in my chad voice child please,” White said. “The first time we played them their coach gone say after we won the game thts a good win for yall like the saints are the colts.

“The saints win one championship and want to go crazy well yall a#$ aint winning this year we gone make sure tht doesn’t happen.”

White had several others posts, including referring to the Saints as the “Aint’s.”

Apparently, he soon realized what he had posted, because he later asked the Atlanta Journal-Constitution to stop posting his Tweets as a Christmas gift. On Thursday, White was pulled from a conference call with New Orleans media, according to The Times Picayune, and also apologized on Thursday, per the AJC.

Personal foul, No. 84, Falcons, foolishly Tweeting.

Don’t think it didn’t go unnoticed by the Saints.

“U can tell da guys who’ve never had success b4… win a few games and theyre yappin at da mouth. Win a superbowl then come holla at me…” said Jonathan Vilma.

Will Smith wondered how White had the “audacity” to use “Aint’s,” and responded with a photo of his Super Bowl ring.

It’s doubtful we’ll hear White, who is having a tremendous season, break radio silence now. But the Falcons can’t be happy about the unneccessary attention for all the wrong reasons. It just goes to show anything you put on the internet, even if it’s about something as innocuous as feet, will eventually surface.

At least this can all get settled on the field on Monday night.
