Addai’s return hurts Brown’s sleeper value

If you were thinking about starting Donald Brown this week, well, the decision has just become more difficult.
Joseph Addai, who has missed eight straight games with a bum shoulder, has returned to practice this week and is expected to play against the Raiders. With Mike Hart (ankle) also getting healthy, the Colts backfield will be close to full capacity.
While that’s good news if you’ve held onto Addai this long, it makes Brown tough to start even against Oakland’s poor run defense. Since Addai is the best blocker or the trio – and protecting Peyton Manning is the No. 1 priority on offense – he could start and be a viable flex option for owners in need at the position.
Just be aware that due to his extended layoff, not to mention Brown’s strong performance last week, Addai is no lock to see the majority of the carries.
