T.O. questionable to return vs. Browns

UPDATE II: The Bengals announced following the game that Owens suffered a torn meniscus in his left knee, which will end his season. It could mean his last game for the Bengals, though, as Owens was playing 2010 under a one-year contract. According to the team, Owens said he plans to play in 2011.

UPDATE: The Bengals announced early during the third quarter that Owens is not expected to return due to his left knee injury.

Already playing with a gimpy knee, Bengals WR Terrell Owens left Sunday’s game against the Browns during the first quarter and is questionable to return.

Owens was listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report after missing two practices during the week. Per Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com, Owens came out early before the game to run routes with QB Carson Palmer and was given the go-ahead by coach Marvin Lewis.

But Owens left on the first series of the game and hasn’t returned.

With Chad Ochocinco also dealing with an ankle injury, Andre Caldwell and Jerome Simpson are both seeing playing time for the Bengals.
