The Raiders announced during the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Broncos that DE Richard Seymour won’t be returning due to a hamstring injury.
Seymour is the latest on a growing list of players who are less than 100 percent in what is playing out as a very physical contest.
Starting RB Darren McFadden has been noticeably absent during the second half, carrying just once while the Raiders have relied on Michael Bush. McFadden, who had 13 carries for 77 yards in the first half, appeared to be getting his shoulders checked on the sideline.
Jacoby Ford was also shaken up and left the field following a 25-yard reception during the third quarter, but returned to start the next series.
Still no official word yet on the status of RT Langston Walker, who left with what appeared to be a head injury. And CB Nnamdi Asomugha, who has been in and out with an ankle injury, returned late in the third quarter.
The Broncos also announced RB Knowshon Moreno will be held out the remainder of the game due to an injury to his side/rib area.
