Saints: Injured Roby has feeling in hands, feet

We’ve got an update on Saints WR Courtney Roby, who was hospitalized following a neck injury in Sunday’s game against the Rams.

The Saints announced Roby, who was brought to Ochsner Hospital for tests, had feeling in his hands and feet.

Roby was injured on a kickoff return late during the second quarter. He had fumbled the kickoff, and then was piled on by a number of players. Teammates crowded around him as he was taken from the field on a stretcher, and the Superdome crowd chanted “Roby! Roby! Roby!”

Given the positive updates, it sound like Roby has avoided a serious injury.
