Bills’ Evans ruled out with ankle injury

UPDATE: The latest news on Evans doesn’t sound good. Bills coach Chan Gailey told reporters following Sunday’s game Evans will miss one or two games, and didn’t rule out he could miss the rest of the season. Chris Brown notes Evans was injured while blocking downfield.

An injury update to pass along out of Buffalo, where Bills WR Lee Evans has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday’s game against¬†the Browns due an ankle injury.

It’s not known when Evans was injured, but he didn’t record any catches before the team announced his injury during the second quarter.

Jonathan Stupar (three catches, 45 yards), Donald Jones (2-14) and David Nelson (1-11) have picked up some of the slack for Evans.
