Expensive game of catch (but worth it)

Thirty-grand for a game of catch? Yes, please, if that game of catch is with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. And if that game of catch is helping Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen to fetch a total of $250,000 in an auction for the Accordia Global Health Foundation (an African relief organization that helps fight infectious disease).

Bundchen even tried to win the game of catch herself, bidding $25,000. She was outbid by another guest. Guess Tom wasn’t worth another five grand. Other Boston royalty was in attendance for the event: Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett of the Boston Celtics and Boston Red Sox sluggers Jason Varitek and Kevin Youkillis.
