Chargers WR Jackson a risky play even if he goes

The Chargers have listed WR Vincent Jackson (calf) as questionable, but the San Diego Union-Tribune is reporting that the receiver is “a go” vs. the Chiefs, (via Twitter). They should make “a go” an option on the injury report.

TE Antonio Gates (toe) again missed practice on Friday and has not been available the entire week, but he is listed as questionable along with RB Darren Sproles (concussion).

Jackson still seems like a risky play, considering he has played about five minutes of football this season. Gates is likely a pretty good bet to play. The Chargers need to win this game, and him sitting out would be like Danny Ocean sitting out the heist in the reboot of Ocean’s 11.
