Yes, the “Dougie” is all the rage right now, and it’s not just the kids. Although, each rendition makes me wonder how many revelers remember Doug E. Fresh. Respect!
After a very busy Week 13, it’s worth taking a look back at the version Lions QB Drew Stanton broke out against the Bears after his 3-yard touchdown run. Tracked it down, and it’s at the end of the video above.
Yes, you’re already thinking it ranks somewhere behind John Wall.
Stanton admitted to Tom Kowalski of MLive.com that he could use some help.
“It wasn’t too good,” Stanton said. “I don’t know if anybody else knows how to Dougie around here, but I could use a little help.”
But here’s the best part: D.J. Moore said the Bears didn’t even mind Stanton’s attempt (of course the fact they won had to help).
“We really didn’t mind him doing the Dougie, he was excited,” said Moore. “But the problem was it was a bad Dougie.”
