Jets’ Woody, Lowery set to face Patriots on MNF

Jets offensive tackle Damien Woody, who has been nursing a sprained knee, will play in the AFC East showdown with the New England Patriots on Monday Night. Woody sprained the medial collateral ligament in his right knee during a Nov. 21 game against the Houston Texans, but he was able to play four days later in a 26-10 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. Woody was limited in practice this week and listed as questionable on the Jets’ final injury report.
Returning to action is backup defensive back Dwight Lowery, who suffered a concussion in the Jets’ 26-20 overtime win No. 14 at Cleveland. He missed the last two games and was limited in practice this week. Lowery was listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report.
As expected, wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery will play against the Pats. He has missed the Jets’ last two games with a slight groin tear and participated fully in practice this week.
For the Patriots, WR Taylor Price, DT Myron Pryor and CB Jonathan Wilhite are inactive. They didn’t participate in practice this week but were listed as questionable on the team’s final injury report.
