Trent Williams sidelined for Redskins

Trent Williams was questionable for Sunday’s game against the Giants due to a shoulder injury, and he’s been in and out of the lineup all afternoon at New Meadowlands Stadium.

Williams was announced as questionable to return for the Redskins during the first quarter, returned, but has been out the last few series for reserve OT Stephon Heyer.

The Redskins have battled numerous injuries along the offensive line, as Williams, RG Artis Hicks (thigh) and C Casey Rabach were all listed as questionable against the Giants.

It might all be a moot point, though, because the Redskins are trailing the Giants 28-7 after a 33-yard touchdown pass from Donovan McNabb to Anthony Armstrong.
