Titans to start Collins at QB vs. Jags; Smith No. 3

As expected, Kerry Collins will be the Titans’ starting QB in Sunday’s AFC South showdown with the Jaguars.
Collins took the first-team reps in practice Friday and was listed as probable on the Titans’ injury report after missing two games with a calf ailment. That, combined with Vince Young‘s season-ending thumb injury, forced the team to start rookie QB Rusty Smith in last week’s 20-0 loss to the Texans.
Smith, who threw three interceptions at Houston, is Tennessee’s No. 3 QB for this game. Chris Simms, who rejoined the Titans a few weeks ago, will back up Collins.
Titans DE Dave Ball (concussion) and DT Jason Jones (knee) were listed as questionable but are active.
