Seahawks WR Williams active vs. Panthers

Seahawks WR Mike Williams is active for Sunday’s game against the Panthers despite being questionable on the injury report with a foot ailment.

Williams missed last week’s game against the Chiefs with a foot strain, but he returned to practice Thursday and will start this time.

Seattle will be without TE John Carlson (hip), G Chester Pitts (ankle) and DT Colin Cole (ankle).

Panthers CB Chris Gamble is out with a hamstring injury. Gamble was benched last week against the Browns and served as the Panthers’ nickel back.

Also out are Panthers starting LG Travelle Wharton and veteran QB Brian St. Pierre.
