Packers RB Starks makes debut, hot name on wire

We finally have a James Starks sighting. The Packers running back has been on the radar for quite some time, and he made his first appearance on Sunday.

And from the looks of it, we should be seeing a lot more of him.

Starks ran the ball 18 times for 73 yards, and looked pretty good. The Packers will always be a pass-first team, but Starks looks like the running back to own in most formats. Hey, the waiver wire is pretty empty this time of year, so Starks is going to be the hot name.

The Packers face the Lions next week, and Starks could be a nice flex option if you are thin at running back. We will continue to monitor his status this week to see if he can crack the starting lineup.
