Steelers DE Brett Keisel has been ruled out of Sunday’s game with the Bills.
The Steelers downgraded Keisel’s status to questionable because of a calf injury Saturday, days after coach Mike Tomlin expressed optimism that the veteran would play.
Steelers safety Troy Polamalu (ankle) is active. He fully participated in practice Friday and was listed as questionable on the team’s final injury report.
For the Bills, rookie RB C.J. Spiller (hamstring) and veteran CB Terrence McGee (knee) are both inactive. Both were listed as questionable.
Spiller, a first-round draft pick, will miss his second game in a row. McGee has missed five game this season because of the nagging injury.
