Vikings WR Rice makes 2010 debut vs. Packers

Vikings QB Brett Favre will have his favorite target back against the NFC North rival Packers, as WR Sidney Rice is active for the first time this season.

The veteran wide receiver was activated from the physically unable to perform list Saturday after undergoing hip surgery in August.

Vikings WR Bernard Berrian (groin), guard Anthony Herrera (elbow) and center John Sullivan (calf) also are active after being listed as questionable on the team’s final injury report.

For the Packers, DE Ryan Pickett, who has been nursing an ankle injury, is active, but FB Korey Hall (back) has been ruled out. Both players were listed as questionable on the injury report.
