Sometimes you need to take heart

There is a recurring theme that I like to advise the fantasy enthusiasts, and that is to lead with your heart. There are plenty of questions that come through the chats that have the caveat, “Am I crazy to … ”
And most of the time you are not. Unless you say something like Colts TE Jacob Tamme will have more fantasy points than Eagles QB Michael Vick. But who would be foolish enough to say such a thing? So that is why most of the time, you are better off going with your gut.
I am guilty of not taking my own advice. My gut told me to start Bengals RB Cedric Benson. But I let outside influences lead me to starting Raiders RB Darren McFadden.
On a team named the Benson Burner, no less.
Benson is making a mockery of that decision, already scoring a touchdown and nearing 100 yards. McFadden is looking to crack double digits in rushing yards. The Bengals are cruising and will likely start grinding the ball. The Raiders will be playing catchup. Though, McFadden is a decent receiver out of the backfield.
Still, if you are lamenting a bad start, release that you are not alone, so take heart. But maybe you need to follow it, too.
