Redskins RB Clinton Portis, who missed five games with a groin injury, will start Sunday against the Titans, NFL.com senior writer Steve Wyche reported.
Portis was listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report. He takes back the starting job from Ryan Torain, who was ruled out with a hamstring injury.
The Redskins also confirmed that SS LaRon Landry (Achilles) and CB Carlos Rogers (hamstring) will not play after being listed as questionable. Anderson Russell will start in Landry’s place, and Phillip Buchanon will start for Rogers.
Titans CB Vincent Fuller (hamstring) is inactive. Kerry Collins (calf) is the No. 3 QB, meaning rookie Rusty Smith will back up starter Vince Young.
