Felix Jones sidelined for Cowboys

UPDATE: Jones has returned for the Cowboys.

Cowboys RB Felix Jones has left Sunday’s game against the Lions with a hip injury and is questionable to return.

Jones left the game early during the third quarter and, according to the FOX game broadcast, went to the locker room for X-rays. Jones has been the Cowboys’ leading rusher on the day with five rushes for 23 yards.

Losing Jones would be tough for the Cowboys, who are in need of playmakers on offense. It might be Marion Barber’s show during the second half.

It was also announced TE Tony Scheffler (ribs) is also questionable to return for the Lions.
