Browns’ Cribbs leaves game with foot injury

UPDATE: The Browns announced that Fujita is questionable to return because of a knee injury.

Locked in a tight game against the Jets, the Browns can ill afford to lose one of their top playmakers, WR Joshua Cribbs.

Cribbs suffered a right foot injury during the second quarter of Sunday’s game in Cleveland and was later announced as questionable to return. He was hurt at the end of a 37-yard reception and was first brought to the bench, but he eventually made his way to the locker room, a development that usually indicates more testing is needed.

Cribbs walked under his own power, but he did have a slight limp.

The injuries are piling up for the Browns. Already playing without starting CB Sheldon Brown, Cleveland lost OLB Scott Fujita just before the two-minute warning after he was shaken up and left the game.
