Bills lose Spiller to hamstring injury

Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse for the 0-8 Bills … rookie RB C.J. Spiller is out for the remainder of Sunday’s game against the Lions with a hamstring injury.
It’s not known when Spiller was injured, but the team announced during the second quarter that he was done for the day. Spiller wasn’t having a huge game for the Bills — two rushes for 14 yards — but it’s still one less option for Ryan Fitzpatrick and Co.
The Bills relied heavily during the first half on Fred Jackson, who had 13 rushes for 35 yards and a touchdown, along with two receptions for 14 yards. They led 7-3 at halftime.
