NFL Network’s Rich Eisen sat down with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to discuss the league’s stance on fines for illegal hits and the latest concerning the ongoing negotiations for a new collective bargaining agreement.
“A lot of negotiations wait until 11:59. I think that’s a mistake in this case,” Goodell said about the urgency of the negotiations. “I think uncertainty is bad for the game. I think it’s bad for the players, I think it’s bad for the fans. I think we need to reach an agreement sooner rather than later.”
