The Texans are running the ball against the Chargers at almost a two-to-one clip of rushes to passes. And then to add insult to no statistics, Texans QB Matt Schaub goes looking for RB Arian Foster in the red zone.
Thankfully (depending on how you look at it), Foster’s touchdown reception was overruled by that questionable rule that cost WR Calvin Johnson a TD in Week 1, not to mention the Lions a win.
But this should be a lesson to Schaub that he should start looking towards WR Dre Johnson once in a while. Johnson has only one point in the first half (I don’t play fractional points because I am a real American). We need more points for him. Maybe Schaub should just take a cue from his AFC South-mate, Peyton Manning and ignore the running plays altogether.
