Panthers RB Williams out again; Saints CBs return
Published: November 7th, 2010 | Tags: Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, Week 9 inactives
Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams will miss another game, this time against the Saints, because of a sprained foot.
Williams hasn’t played or practiced since being hurt during the final minute of an Oct. 24 victory over the 49ers.
The Saints’ secondary will receive a boost, as CBs Tracy Porter and Jabari Greer will return to action. They both fully participated in practice this week and were listed as probable.
Porter had missed the last four games with a knee injury. Greer had missed two weeks with a shoulder injury.
