Lions QB Stafford apparently injures shoulder

Matthew Stafford just has a tough time staying on the field for the Lions.
The quarterback left Sunday’s game against the Jets at Ford Field late during the fourth quarter with what initially looks to be a right shoulder injury.
Stafford landed hard on the shoulder at the end of a 1-yard scramble, and he immediately got up off the field and ran to the sideline holding his right arm against his side. Unfortunately, it’s the same shoulder — his throwing shoulder – that forced Stafford to miss five games earlier this season.
Stafford was surrounded by medical personnel on the Lions’ sideline, but he wasn’t immediately brought to the locker room. No indication he has tried to throw yet.
Drew Stanton finished the drive for the Lions.
