Panthers RB Williams doubtful vs. Saints

Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams (foot) missed practice again on Friday and is listed as doubtful vs. the Saints. That means that Jonathan Stewart will again see the bulk of the carries against the defending champions.
But like last week, you are again encouraged to use caution when starting Stewart, who clearly did not recapture the magic of last season’s monstrous play at the end of the year. Stewart rushed for only 30 yards against St. Louis and when asked after the game if there were any holes to run through, he responded “Did you see any holes?”
Pointing fingers at your offensive line certainly cannot make things better, right? Hard to imagine a team with a lame-duck coach would come to this. And to make matters worse, Jeff Otah (knee) is officially out this week.
Consider Stewart a low-end No. 2 running back, thanks in part to all of the backs on bye this week.
