Well, let’s call it a bye weekend, because that’s all the Cowboys really had off. With the newest addition to his family — Dez Bryant Jr., born on June 25 of this year — Bryant said that just being able to spend time with little Dez was all he wanted to do. That and keep healthy.

Eagles coach Andy Reid just announced that CB Asante Samuel is out this week because he failed his concussion test. Reid also announced the QB Michael Vick is out, too. Although that was rather expected.
