Niners TE Davis sidelined by ankle injury

UPDATE: Still no sign of Davis at the start of the second half for the 49ers. It looks like the 49ers will go with Delanie Walker the rest of the way.

The 49ers don’t have much going offensively against the Broncos in London, and they might need to get back on track without the services of star TE Vernon Davis.

Davis left the game during the first half with an ankle injury, the team announced. Officially, he’s doubtful to return.

Per Matt Maiocco of Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, Davis was having his ankle re-wrapped on the sideline. We’ll keep an eye out to see if he’s able to return during the second half.
