That figures, Mathews scores

Chargers RB Ryan Mathews scored a rushing touchdown, so you know what that means — time for Mathews to sit on the bench. Because Mathews always gets benched when ever he shows some flashes.

Or at least it just seems that way with coach Norv Turner.

Many fantasy enthusiasts have broken ties with Mathews. Not dropping him, mind you. But finally putting him on the bench. Even NFL.com fantasy editor Michael Fabiano said that he was getting a ‘fantasy divorce’ this morning on NFL.com Fantasy LIVE. Figures — as Fabiano says — that is probably what motivated Mathews to score.

Well, those recently divorced people are known to be wild. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come with Mathews.
