Hoomanawanui leaves game for Rams

Rams rookie TE Michael Hoomanawanui was helped off the field during the second quarter Sunday against the Panthers with what was announced as a rib injury.

Officially, he’s questionable to return.

Hoomanawanui was injured on an incomplete pass from Sam Bradford. He left the field, and then the sidelines, holding his right arm close to his body. Not a good sign for the Rams.

The Rams will be relying more on Billy Bajema and Daniel Fells.
