Jackson back in San Diego, but can’t help … yet

The Chargers need help at receiver and help appears to be on the horizon. The only problem is that it just cannot get here soon enough.
The Chargers have listed WRs Malcom Floyd (hamstring) and Legedu Naanee (hamstring) as doubtful for this week’s game against the Titans. Tight end Antonio Gates (toe) is questionable. But hey look, here comes WR Vincent Jackson who ended his lengthy holdout.
Too bad he cannot play until Week 12 at Indianapolis because of a team-imposed suspension.
Not that it seems to matter to QB Philip Rivers who continues to thrive no matter who the receiver is. Rivers ranks second among quarterbacks on NFL.com, and his receiving corps continues to fall around him. WR Patrick Crayton continues to be the best receiving option in San Diego right now.
