Don’t sleep on Steven Jackson

The Rams announced via Twitter that RB Steven Jackson (finger surgery) was held out of practice on Thursday.

Whether or not the ailment keeps him out of action this week remains to be seen, but I expect Jackson to suit up against the Panthers. The veteran running back has a history of playing in games despite missing practice time, so there’s no need to panic at this point.

He also said after missing practice that he’s “definitely playing” this week.

Jackson has a ridiculously favorable matchup against a Carolina defense that has allowed an average of 19 fantasy points per game to opposing backs, so he needs to be active in all leagues.
