Week 7 power rankings: Giants climbing

.) Ravens — Very fortunate to get that win, but gonna leave them where I had them anyway.
.) Steelers — Also very fortunate to get that win, but gonna leave them where I had them anyway.
.) Jets — Stay right where they were before the bye week.
.) Patriots — Randy who?
.) Saints — Drew Brees isn’t getting any sleep with the newborn at home. Cut him some slack. It won’t happen again.
.) Giants – Eli Manning + power run game + that pass rush = Super Bowl threat.
.) Titans – Crazy win with the backup QB. 13-4 since starting 0-6 a year ago.
.) Packers — Big step putting the Vikes behind them. Aaron Rodgers has been a second-half player.
.) Colts – Can’t keep losing key players at this rate.
.) Texans – Nice and healthy and suspension-free out of the bye week.
.) Falcons – The secondary still scares me.
.) Chiefs – The schedule sets up nicely for them. They might run away with the AFC West.
.) Eagles — Well, they sure let that slip away. Emblematic of the entire league.
.) Dolphins — Deserved better than that replay decision.
.) Seahawks — Don’t look now, but an NFC West team is actually on a winning streak.
.) Bucs — Josh Freeman has some kind of mojo going on. Wow. Huge, huge comeback win.
.) Redskins — Won that turnover-fest with Chicago but have been incredibly fortunate. Give up tons of yards, QB play been weak. I can’t see them holding up over 16 games.
.) Vikings – The thrill is gone; the drama keeps mounting.
.) Raiders — Jason Campbell gives them their best chance to sustain anything positive this season.
.) Bengals — What happened to that defense? My goodness. No chemistry there, either.
.) Bears – This QB is not a fit for this system, and this team has never been as good as its record (though that part is changing).
.) Rams — Still learning how to win — and should have beaten both Tampa and Arizona.
.) Chargers — Unreal. False start on a 50-yard FG to tie score? Worst special teams in league.
.) Cowboys — It’s over. No Tony Romo and another blown opportunity.
.) Browns — Who saw that coming? Going to The Big Easy, making Brees look silly and routing the world champs?
.) Jaguars — They beat teams in the lower third of the league and struggle mightily against everyone else.
.) Lions — Drop a spot off their bye week. It’s a cruel league — and some bottom-feeders had big weekends — what can I say?
.) Cardinals – I can’t imagine this team really hanging in this division race, even in the NFC West.
.) Broncos – Now 4-13 in their last 17 games and already three home losses in 2010. Getting 60 hung on you by the Raiders at home? Yikes.
.) 49ers — That was a must-win game they just blew. Season went with it, I figure.
.) Panthers — Congrats on getting their first win of the season.
.) Bills — Love their fighting spirit … but they gotta find a way to win a game.
